The Inspiration

There’s so much we could cover during a voice lesson, but if we tried to fit it all in, we wouldn’t actually have time to sing!

That’s why we’ve created additional programs to explore the essential areas often overlooked in traditional lessons—like music theory, how to warm up your voice, and how to self-accompany.

Think of these programs as the perfect opportunity to dive into all the “extras” you’ve always wanted to cover in your singing journey—but couldn’t fit into a typical lesson.

In private vocal lessons, we don’t use a set “curriculum” as we find that a lot of our students come to us for lessons because they were looking for something a bit more personalized. Instead, all of our teachers are trained on vocal anatomy, pedagogy and frameworks that can be used to teach. These frameworks are a mix of tried and true techniques and modified by our teachers to reflect the uniqueness of who we are and who we serve,

Amanda Miller

I’m a newer student at AVS and new to the Boston area! I work as a medical anthropology researcher, and in my free time I love getting outside to explore nature, staying in for a new video game, all things arts & crafts, and now building my musicianship abilities with Arabella.

10,000 stars! I joined Arabella’s Voice Studio because I wanted to gain the skills and confidence to develop my singing voice. After only a few weeks with Arabella I’ve learned more than I ever expected about my own body and musical theory. She is always patient, helpful with her guidance, and supportive of trying new things to help you grow. I can’t wait to keep learning!
